This hand-turned bowl is crafted from richly spalted wood — its dramatic dark streaks and varied grain the result of a natural fungal process that transforms ordinary timber into something extraordinary. Golden amber resin flows through the natural voids and cracks, stabilizing the wood while adding luminous rivers of colour that catch the light from every angle.
Looking straight down into the bowl you see the growth rings in the base — a quiet reminder of the decades this tree spent growing before becoming a piece you'll keep for a lifetime.
